1. Detroit Lions (0-16)

Matthew Stafford / 6'2" / 225 / Jr. / QB /

Year / Comp. / Att. / Comp % / Yds / TD / INT
2006 / 135 / 235 / 57.4% / 1,749 / 7 / 13
2007 / 194 / 348 / 55.7% / 2,523 / 19 / 10
2008 / 235 / 383 / 61.4% / 3,459 / 25 / 10
Career / 564 / 966 / 58.4% / 7,731 / 51 / 33

Rivals.com Scouting Report:
The Good: A strong-armed passer who has the ability to make all the necessary throws at the next level. Showcases nice touch on passes down the field and isn’t afraid to hang in the pocket until the last moment. Possesses good footwork and balance and knows how to read a defense in his drop from center. Has matured significantly over the past two years.
The Bad: Will trust his arm too much at times and force the ball into tight coverage. Has a tendency to lose his strike zone and isn’t the most accurate of passers. His overall consistency seems to run hot and cold. Gets rattled easily with pressure in his face.

2. St. Louis Rams (2-14)

Jason Smith / 6'6" / 305 / Sr. / OT /

Rivals.com Scouting Report:
The Good: A former tight end who displays excellent overall athleticism and quickness in pass protection. Has an explosive first step out of his stance and has the feet to consistently mirror defensive ends in space. A long-armed tackle who has the foot speed to reach the corner. Does a great job in the run game getting into the second level and demonstrates the body control to cut down defenders.
The Bad: Isn’t used to putting his hand on the ground and consistently lines up in a two-point stance. Is still a bit raw in all aspects of his game and needs to polish his footwork and over-hand technique. A bit thin in the lower half.

3. Kansas City Chiefs (2-14)

Aaron Curry / 6'3" / 247 / Sr. / LB /

Year / TKL / TFL / Sack / Int / PD / FF
2005 / 45 / 7.5 / 0 / 0 / 5 / 0
2006 / 83 / 8.5 / 3 / 1 / 3 / 2
2007 / 99 / 13.5 / 3 / 4 / 4 / 2
2008 / 105 / 16 / 2.5 / 1 / 3 / 1
Career / 332 / 45.5 / 8.5 / 6 / 15 / 5

Rivals.com Scouting Report:
The Good: A thickly built linebacker with good power in his upper and lower body. Is strong at the point of attack and does a nice job extending his arms and keeping blockers off his frame. Is very fluid in pass coverage. Showcases smooth footwork and clean redirect skills in space. Has impressive closing speed and consistently makes plays on the ball. A sideline-to-sideline athlete who will be one of the safest picks in the draft.
The Bad: More of a wrap guy that a powerful hitter. Needs to do a better job reading and reacting quickly; at times will take a false step. Had the speed to get away with it at the college level.

4. Seattle Seahawks (4-12)

Mark Sanchez / 6'3" / 225 / Jr. / QB /

Year / Comp. / Att. / Comp % / Yds / TD / INT
2006 / 3 / 7 / 42.9% / 63 / 0 / 1
2007 / 69 / 114 / 60.5% / 695 / 7 / 5
2008 / 241 / 366 / 65.8% / 3,207 / 34 / 10
Career / 313 / 487 / 64.3% / 3,965 / 41 / 16

Rivals.com Scouting Report:
The Good: A natural leader who knows how to handle the pressure of being an NFL quarterback. Possesses above-average arm strength, but it’s his accuracy and timing that make him efficient. Has been tutored in an NFL-style offense at USC and showcases the ability to make NFL-type reads. Is a tough, competitive prospect who puts the time needed to excel.
The Bad: Has only one year of starting experience at USC and at times will lock onto his primary receiver. Needs to learn to trust his throwing motion and stride into his passes underneath. Has a tendency to short arm throws.

5. Cleveland Browns (4-12)

Michael Crabtree / 6'3" / 214 / So. / WR /

Year / Rec / Yds / Avg / TD
2007 / 134 / 1,962 / 14.6 / 22
2008 / 97 / 1,165 / 12.0 / 19
Career / 231 / 3,127 / 13.5 / 41

Rivals.com Scouting Report:
The Good: A tall, well-built receiver who displays excellent quickness and body control in and out of his breaks. Possesses excellent hands and awareness down the field. Consistently can go up and pluck balls at their highest point. Is a sharp route runner who snaps off routes quickly and showcases a good burst out of his breaks. Uses his body to gain inside position and shield defenders from the ball. An ultra productive wideout whose skill set should translate well to the next level.
The Bad: Lacks elite deep speed and simply can’t outrun every corner down the field. Needs to do a better job with his release; has a tendency to jump into his routes rather than use his size or quickness to burst off the line. Showed up at the NFL Combine with a stress fracture in his left foot and there are concerns about whether he will be able to run or not.

6. Cincinnati Bengals (4-11-1)

Eugene Monroe / 6'6" / 315 / Sr. / OT /

Rivals.com Scouting Report:
The Good: A natural bender with good body control and re-direction skills in space. Displays a natural first step out of his stance and has an ability to consistently reach the corner vs. edge rushers. Possesses vines for arms and does a nice job getting hands inside and anchoring against the bull rush. Natural in space and has the athleticism to reach-block and seal at the second level.
The Bad: Needs to add a bit more girth and power to his base. Isn’t a real physical in-line run blocker and isn’t going to get great push in the run game. Needs to show more of a violent punch in pass protection.

7. Oakland Raiders (5-11)

Jeremy Malin / 6'1" / 200 / So. / WR /

Year / Att. / Yds / Avg / TD / Rec / Yds / Avg / TD
2007 / 51 / 375 / 7.4 / 4 / 80 / 1,055 / 13.2 / 9
2008 / 40 / 293 / 7.3 / 2 / 102 / 1,260 / 12.4 / 13
Career / 91 / 668 / 7.3 / 6 / 182 / 2,315 / 12.7 / 22

Rivals.com Scouting Report
The Good: An explosive downfield threat with elite deep speed who can consistently outrun defenders at the second level. Showcases good body control and coordination in and out of his routes and is very dangerous with the ball in his hands. Exhibits good suddenness and burst laterally and can consistently separate on all levels of the field. A gifted punt and kick returner.
The Bad: Lacks ideal strength for the position and can be bullied at times in press coverage. Is still developing as a route runner; has a tendency to round off his breaks. Needs to show better attention to detail.

8. Jacksonville Jaguars (5-11)

Andre Smith / 6'4" / 330 / Jr. / OT /

Rivals.com Scouting Report:
The Good: A powerful, stocky tackle prospect who has the base strength to consistently open up run lanes and move linemen off the ball. Plays with natural leverage and does a good job getting under defenders and driving them down the field. Displays excellent foot speed and coordination in pass protection. Re-directs very cleanly and exhibits ideal balance for a man his size.
The Bad: Needs to keep his weight under control; has had problems with it, making it a concern at the next level. Isn’t the most athletic tackle and will struggle reaching the corner against speed rushers. May be best suited to the right side. Maturity is a concern, showed up at the NFL Combine overweight and left without warning; there are big red flags in that area.
