OUTBURST

For a long time we wanted to create a website because we were sick of the lame sites out there. We wanted to create a place where people could talk about anything, read our take on current events, movies, games and anything else we felt like talking about. Of course we want to offer more things like games, sports predictions, etc. So we setout to create the ultimate site…OUTBURST. But we soon realized that creating a site was easer said then done. I mean we knew all the technical aspects of creating and maintain one but a lot more goes in to having one people actually want to visit.

We created the first version of OUTBURST in late 2008. It was darker then some websites. With a black background, light gray text and a blue logo (the logo is still pimp). We dumped shit loads of content into the forum, people started showing up. But there was a problem, no one was signing up for an account or returning to the site. Of course with zero people signing up we had no feed back on what the problem was. I finished a massive old school Atari 2600 game project. We had just about every single Atari 2600 game on the site for people to play. I posted my list of games on the Atari Age forum. Naturally I was confronted by jackasses.

One asshole’s (Pioneer4x4) complaint was there was bad language on the site. Keep in mind this guy is like 46 years old. His only two comments were “I was turned off by the language as soon as I went to the page. To me the Atari was always very family oriented.” (because you can play Atari games on our site). Also keep in mind Atari Age lets people download every Atari game. We don’t give the damn games to people, just let them play it. The only thing I said back to him was “Ride till we find them… and kill them all. That is your signature”. Here is the link to the post so you can read everything. One bastard (Random Terrain) said “his eyes hurt”. And that same asshole said “it kind of looks like one of those old Geocities web sites that made you want to scoop out your eyes with a rusty spoon”. Fuck both of you pussies! Go back to your mom’s basement.

Anyways to make a long story short (too late), we have redesigned OUTBURST. We are adding all kinds of cool shit but we just got back up and running so bear with us. Signup for an account, let us know if there is anything we can add to make the site better.

P.S. If you’re in your 40’s living in a basement somewhere in Pennsylvania watching shitty movies, trying to police the internet and rid the world of foul language. Fuck off!
